HKUST President to discuss his life journey at Youth Exchange Session

The following is issued on behalf of the Commission on Youth:

     The President of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Professor Tony Chan, will attend the Youth Exchange Session on November 30 (Monday). The topic of discussion will be "My Life Journey: From A Kung Ngam to Clear Water Bay". He will talk about his upbringing as well as his success stories, and exchange views with youths.

     The Youth Exchange Session is co-organised by the Home Affairs Bureau and the Commission on Youth (CoY) to provide young people with opportunities to exchange views with representatives from the Government and stakeholders on topics of concern.

     The session will be held between 7pm and 8.30pm in Room W301, 3/F, West Block, Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre, Education Bureau, 19 Suffolk Road, Kowloon Tong, Kowloon.

     Young people aged 15 to 29 can enrol from today (November 2) through online registration on the homepage of the CoY (www.coy.gov.hk/en/activities/youth_exchange_sessions.html). For enquiries, please call 2342 0900.

     Enrolment will close on November 22 (Sunday). Ballots will be drawn should the number of enrolments received exceed capacity.
