Police will implement the following special traffic arrangements on November 1 (Sunday) in Central to facilitate the holding of a public parade.
Road closure
------------
The following roads will be closed from 9.30am to noon:
- Westbound Wing Lok Street between Cleverly Street and Morrison Street;
- Bonham Strand between Morrison Street and Wing Lok Street; and
- Northbound Morrison Street between Des Voeux Road Central and Queen¡¦s Road Central.
The following roads may be intermittently closed from 9.30am until the crowd is dispersed:
- Queen¡¦s Road Central;
- Possession Street; and
- Hollywood Road.
Traffic diversions
------------------
The following roads will be diverted from 9.30am to noon:
- Traffic along westbound Wing Lok Street will be diverted to Cleverly Street;
- Traffic along southbound Cleverly Street cannot turn right to Wing Lok Street;
- Traffic along eastbound Wing Lok Street will be diverted to Bonham Strand;
- Traffic along westbound Bonham Strand will be diverted to Morrison Street; and
- Traffic along westbound Queen¡¦s Road Central cannot turn right to Morrison Street.
Suspension of parking spaces
----------------------------
All parking spaces outside Man Mo Temple and Hollywood Road will be suspended.
All vehicles found illegally parked within the precincts will be towed away without prior notice.
Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the area. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
