Kwai Chung lift and pedestrian walkway system proposed

     The Government plans to construct a lift and pedestrian walkway system connecting Kwai Shing Circuit and Hing Shing Road in Kwai Chung, in order to provide safe, comfortable, convenient and barrier-free access.

     The suggested works, gazetted today (October 30), are set out in the Annex. The plan and the scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

38 Pier Road, Central, Hong Kong

Kwai Tsing District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre,

     The gazette notice and location plan will be available at www.thb.gov.hk/eng/psp/publications/transport/gazette/gazette.htm .

     Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, on or before December 29, 2015.
