Police will implement special traffic arrangements on October 18 (Sunday) to facilitate a public procession to be held on Hong Kong Island.
The following roads will be intermittently closed from 2.30pm until the crowd is dispersed:
- Westbound Hennessy Road;
- Fenwick Street;
- Westbound Lockhart Road;
- Arsenal Street; and
- Westbound Queensway.
Vehicles may not be permitted to leave the car parks along the procession route during the above road closure period.
Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made by the Police at the time depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the area. Motorists should exercise tolerance and patience, and follow the instructions of Police on site.
