Taiwanese handmade canvas bag store Guangfuhao Limited announced today (October 2) that it has opened its first Hong Kong store, leveraging the city's international business environment to promote its brand globally.
Guangfuhao Limited is a canvas bag manufacturer established over 20 years ago and which created its eponymous label in 2009. The mission of the company extends beyond the aspiration to nurture Taiwanese traditional industries and promote craftsmanship, as the company also cultivates the next generation to join the industry. The founder of Guangfuhao Limited, Ms Po Lee, expressed that the store will launch a series of canvas bags designed to cater to the lifestyle needs and work purposes of the Hong Kong consumer.
She said, "Hong Kong is an open and international city, with multi-lingual citizens with a global vision. Many international brands have already built their presence in the city which led us to open our first store in Hong Kong, which is a very important springboard to go global."
She added, "We have reached saturation in the Taiwanese market. To expand our business, we need to enter into the global markets. Hong Kong offers a perfect foothold for us to showcase our products and promote our brand."
