Police will implement special traffic arrangements on Sunday (September 20) to facilitate the holding of a triathlon in Tai Po.
The following road sections will be closed from 6am to 9.30am:
- Ting Kok Road between Tai Mei Tuk Road and Bride¡¦s Pool Road;
- Bride¡¦s Pool Road between Ting Kok Road and Luk Keng Road; and
- A section of Tai Mei Tuk Road from a point about 100 metres south of its junction with the entrance of Tai Mei Tuk Bus Terminus to Tai Mei Tuk Water Sports Centre.
All vehicles will be prohibited from driving into the above closed roads except for authorised vehicles.
Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the area. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
