Following is the transcript of remarks by the Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, at a media session in Jakarta today (September 16):
Chief Executive: I would like to thank the Vice President and the Indonesian Government for agreeing to the establishment of the new Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Jakarta. This is the first such office in a foreign country since 2009 when we set up the Berlin Economic and Trade Office in Germany. And this is also the 12th Economic and Trade Office in a foreign country that will be set up by Hong Kong. It really signifies the importance that we attach to relations that we have with Indonesia - not just on the trade front, but also investment, government to government and people to people. So we very much look forward to opening our doors when the office is ready.
