Police are investigating a traffic accident in Sheung Shui in the small hours today (September 10) in which a 30-year-old man died.
About 0.06am, a bus driven by a 40-year-old man was travelling along San Wan Road towards San Fung Road. When approaching near Chi Cheong Road, it reportedly knocked down the 30-year-old man who was crossing the road on a bike.
Sustaining serious multiple injuries, the man was rushed to North District Hospital in unconscious state, and was certified dead at 0.34am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are underway.
