Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan in the small hours today (August 29) in which a 52-year-old man died.
At about 2.20am, a private car driven by the man was travelling along eastbound Cheung Sha Wan Road. When approaching near Butterfly Valley Road, it reportedly lost control, rammed into a bridge column nearby and side-turned.
After the impact, the male driver was in unconscious state and was rushed to the Caritas Medical Centre where he was certified dead at 3.20am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are underway.
