Three pedestrian connectivity facilities for Anderson Road Quarry site development proposed

     The Government has proposed constructing three pedestrian connectivity facilities linking the Anderson Road Quarry site with the residential development at Anderson Road, Hiu Kwong Street with Hiu Ming Street, and a proposed footbridge at Sau Ming Road with Hiu Ming Street. The proposed works would enhance the existing pedestrian connectivity networks as well as those being constructed or planned in Kwun Tong to tie in with the development of the Anderson Road Quarry site.

     The proposal was gazetted today (August 28). Details are set out in the Annex. The plans and the scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

     The gazette notice and location plans will be available at www.thb.gov.hk/eng/psp/publications/transport/gazette/gazette.htm .

     Any person who wishes to object to the proposed works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, on or before October 27, 2015.
