************************************************************

A Leisure and Cultural Services Department spokesman announced today (August 27) that, apart from individual libraries' closing days, the opening hours of public and mobile libraries on the public holiday to mark the 70th anniversary of victory in the Chinese people's war of resistance against Japanese aggression (September 3) and the day following Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival (September 28) will be the same as those for public holidays.

On the Mid-Autumn Festival (September 27, Sunday), the opening hours of all public libraries and mobile libraries will be the same as those for Sundays, apart from North Lamma and South Lamma Public Libraries, which are closed on Sundays, and Hong Kong Central Library, which will close at 5pm.
