Police today (August 25) appealed to the public for information on a dead body found in Lantau North on March 7.
About 4.54pm on that day, Police received a report that a man was found floating in the sea off Tai O. He was rescued and certified dead at scene.
The deceased was believed to be a Chinese male aged between 20 and 30. He was about 1.66 metres tall, of medium build and with short black hair. His upper body was naked while the lower body was wearing black and grey underpants. No identity document was found on the body.
Initial investigations revealed no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
Police urged anyone who knows the deceased or has any information to offer to contact officers of the Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-unit of Lantau North Division on 3661 1927.
