The Labour Department will organise a seminar on the Employment Ordinance on September 24 (Thursday) at 2.15pm at the Community Hall, 3/F, Caritas Community Centre - Kowloon (Block B), 256A, Prince Edward Road West, Kowloon.
The main provisions of the Employment Ordinance (including wages, leave and termination of contract etc), points to note for the employment of foreign domestic helpers, the Minimum Wage Ordinance and the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes (Amendment) Ordinance 2015 will be introduced.
The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese and admission is free. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and the enrollment deadline is September 17. The enrollment form can be downloaded from the department's website (www.labour.gov.hk). For enquiries, please call 2399 2386.
