The Leisure and Cultural Services Department's Music Delight Series will present a concert by Chanticleer from the United States in October.

The award-winning ensemble Chanticleer will perform the programme "Over the Moon". The ensemble is known around the world as "an orchestra of voices" for its seamless blend of 12 male voices ranging from countertenor to bass, as well as its original interpretations of vocal literature, from Renaissance to jazz and from gospel to venturesome new music. Chanticleer performs nationally and internationally and holds more than 100 concerts each year. Since Chanticleer began releasing recordings in 1981, the group has sold well over a million albums and won two Grammy awards.

The programme includes Gerald Finzi's "My Spirit Sang All Day", Nico Muhly's "Three Moon Songs", Mason Bates' "Observer in the Magellanic Cloud", Bart Howard's "Fly Me to the Moon" and more.

The concert will be staged at 8pm on October 2 (Friday) at the Auditorium of Tsuen Wan Town Hall. Tickets with prices ranging from $150 to $300 are now available at URBTIX.
