S for S to visit Xinjiang, Sichuan and Xizang

The Secretary for Security, Mr Lai Tung-kwok, will visit Xinjiang, Sichuan and Xizang from tomorrow (August 9) to August 15.
Mr Lai will arrive in Urumqi, Xinjiang, tomorrow afternoon and will leave for Kashi on August 10. He will go to Chengdu, Sichuan, on August 12 and will depart for Lhasa, Xizang, in the evening. Mr Lai will then visit Xigaze on August 14 and return to Hong Kong via Chengdu on August 15.
During his time in these cities, Mr Lai will visit the public security authorities and meet with their officials to exchange views on matters of mutual interest.
