SHA saddened by death of Dr Lam Kar-sing

The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Lau Kong-wah, today (August 5) expressed his profound condolences on the passing of Dr Lam Kar-sing (born Lam Man-shun).
"Dr Lam was a highly regarded master in his field. He was actively devoted to supporting the preservation and promotion of Cantonese opera and made significant contributions to the sustainable development of the traditional art form, as well as nurturing young talents. We all will miss him," Mr Lau said.
