Gecko from UK to make its Hong Kong debut with multimedia production
**********************************************************

UK dance theatre company Gecko will bring to Hong Kong patrons the acclaimed production "Missing" in September. The programme is part of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department's Boundless Multimedia Series 2015.

"Missing" is an exploration of the depths of the human psyche. The storyline follows a woman who is suffering from an identity crisis with her soul in decay. Presented with fragmented scenes which interweave between reality and memories, it features a combination of projection, puppetry, atmospheric lighting, movable viewfinders and physical dance, fully demonstrating the powerful body tension of the performers. It was featured in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2013 and has toured in Georgia, Colombia, Russia, Poland, Mexico and the Mainland with rave reviews.

Gecko is a physical dance theatre company founded in 2001. With an expanding ensemble of international performers and makers, Gecko creates works through collaboration, experimentation and play. The company has taken its productions to over 20 countries, working across all age groups, nationalities and forms. Gecko celebrates diversity.

"Missing" by Gecko will be staged at 8pm on September 11 and 12 (Friday and Saturday) as well as at 3pm on September 13 (Sunday) at the Theatre of Sheung Wan Civic Centre. Tickets are priced at $220 and $280 and are now available at URBTIX. Half-price tickets are available for senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and their minders, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients (limited tickets for CSSA recipients are available on a first-come, first-served basis).
