Police today (August 3) appealed to the public for information on a fatal traffic accident in Kwun Tong on July 16 in which a 74-year-old man died.
About 12.15pm on that day, a bus driven by a 34-year-old man was travelling along westbound of Kwun Tong Road. When approaching near 392 Kwun Tong Road, the 74-year-old male passenger reportedly fell down inside the bus compartment.
Sustaining hand injury, the man was rushed to United Christian Hospital in conscious state for medical treatment. He was certified dead at 9.01am on July 21.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are underway.
