The Hospital Authority (HA) spokesman today (July 31) announced that all vaccines for the Government 2015 Southern Hemisphere Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Programme at 73 General Out-patient Clinics (GOPCs) have been depleted. GOPCs of the HA have already arranged free vaccination to eligible community elderly people aged 75 or above since the commencement of the programme on May 20.
The spokesman pointed out that HA will continue working with the government in the upcoming winter seasonal influenza vaccination programme and appeals to the general public to watch out for the announcement of the details later this year.
Members of the public are also reminded to maintain good personal and hand hygiene, maintain a balance diet, conduct regular exercise as well as having adequate rest as effective means to prevent influenza.
