Metro-HoliK Studio to re-run award-winning play "So Long, Fare well! HK" (with photo)
**********************************************************

Local theatre company Metro-HoliK Studio will re-run the award-winning play "So Long, Fare well! HK" in September. The play was awarded Best Screenplay at the 5th Hong Kong Theatre Libre.

The play is produced by Choy Chak-man and directed by Chan Cheuk-wai. The main cast includes Choy Chak-man, Cheng Chau-man, Kwok Lai-man, Wong Ka-wai and Ng Chi-wah.

The story takes place in the summer of 1997. Model student Chan Chun-yat fails badly in the Certificate of Education Exams. No one knows the cause except Chan himself and the class teacher, the "memory" of whom he once kissed in front of the blackboard. Lai Wai-chi, a notorious problem student, disappears on the eve of the exams. Left behind is the secret of sweat, soft drink and tears she shared with her PE teacher on the playground and at the love hotel. Chan and Lai meet at a school reunion in the early autumn of 2007. They suddenly hear a voice that whispers in their hearts, "So, how have you been for the past 10 years?"
