Here is an item of interest to swimmers.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (July 21) that Lower Cheung Sha Beach, Pui O Beach, Hung Shing Yeh Beach and Lo So Shing Beach in Islands District have been temporarily closed until further notice for maintenance of the shark prevention nets and beach rafts. Red flags have been hoisted at these beaches. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at these beaches.
