     Following is the speech by the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mrs Carrie Lam, at the opening ceremony of the Fundación Real Madrid Clinic Hong Kong 2015 at the Hong Kong Velodrome today (July 19):

Mr (Juan Manuel) López-Nadal (Consul-General of Spain), Mr (Paco) Wu (Director, Asia Pacific, Real Madrid), Mr (Leo) Mok, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen,

     It gives me great pleasure to attend the opening ceremony of the Real Madrid Foundation Clinic Hong Kong today. On behalf of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, I would like to welcome the Real Madrid Foundation, running its first joint clinic for basketball and football in Hong Kong. I'm sure that the 80 local coaches and over 800 students who will be trained in the Clinic this summer will cherish the valuable opportunity of learning professional skills and knowledge from one of the leading sports clubs in the world.

     I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Real Madrid Foundation and the Dreams Foundation for taking forward this very meaningful project. May I wish all participants of the Real Madrid Foundation Clinic Hong Kong a fruitful and unforgettable summer. Thank you very much.
