CE saddened by death of Wan Li

The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, today (July 15) expressed his profound sadness at the passing of former Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Mr Wan Li.
"Over the years, Chairman Wan has been dedicated in taking forward the reform and opening-up policy of our country and has made significant contributions to her development. On behalf of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, I would like to extend my deepest condolences to Chairman Wan's family," Mr Leung said.
