The following is issued on behalf of the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education:
Members of the public are invited to visit the Civic Education Exhibition 2015 at the Hong Kong Book Fair 2015 (Booth 3B-C36, Children's Paradise). The exhibition will be open from tomorrow (July 15) to July 21 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The exhibition is jointly organised by the Home Affairs Bureau and the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education (CPCE), with a focus on promoting "Cherish Yourself and Your Family, Love Hong Kong and Your Country" and the civic values of respect and inclusiveness, responsibility and love. It will feature information on civic education as well as a wide range of materials and publications produced by the CPCE, the Education Bureau and the Independent Commission Against Corruption. Visitors are welcome to take "The Clay Family" magazine cover style photos at the photo corner, take part in interactive games and receive souvenirs at the booth.
The organisers will hold an exhibition ceremony at noon on Friday (July 17) at the stage in the Children's Paradise. In addition to music and dance performances, singer Phil Lam will also perform during the ceremony and share with participants his views on civic values such as respect and inclusiveness.
