Secondary schools reminded to prepare for HKDSE result release day
*******************************************************

The Education Bureau (EDB) today (July 6) issued a circular memorandum to all secondary schools, reminding them to prepare for the result release day of the 2015 Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) on July 15.

An EDB spokesman said, "Schools are advised to continue to support their students prior to, on and after July 15. For example, schools can organise a briefing for their students and parents before July 15 to give them advice and updated information on the support measures available.

"The EDB will continue to provide schools, students and parents with essential support to facilitate early preparation for July 15, including the production of 'Three useful tools for 715', namely, 'e-Navigator', '715 Further Studies and Career Map' and '2015 Compass@715'. These tools have been uploaded to the 'Designated Web Page on 715' (www.edb.gov.hk/715/en).

"The 'e-Navigator' webpage allows graduates, parents and schools to search for programme information across different local institutions and levels including degrees, sub-degrees and the Yi Jin Diploma. It also comes with a smart phone application which could be downloaded via smart phone or at 'e-Navigator' website.

"Telephone enquiry services operated by the EDB, Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, Joint University Programmes Admissions System and other organisations are available in July. The four Regional Education Offices would also provide an enquiry service and assistance to students and parents. For details, please refer to the e-pamphlet Compass@715 (334.edb.hkedcity.net/715/EN/compass.php)."
