Bunk Puppets from Australia to stage award-winning "Swamp Juice" in July (with photos)
**********************************************************

Bunk Puppets from Australia will present "Swamp Juice" for Hong Kong audiences in July. Blending shadow puppetry with physical theatre, the show creates a playful adventure set in a very unusual swamp and offers a captivating encounter for all ages.

"Swamp Juice" was a winner of the Total Theatre Award in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2011.

In the programme, Jeff Achtem from Bunk Puppets will show how creativity and imagination can turn bits of rubbish into shadow puppets like bickering snails, a neurotic snake, an opera-singing mouse and more. He will also manipulate multiple junk-made puppets in front of the audiences, who will be astounded as the shadows leap off the screen in the 3D finale. Audience members may even become puppeteers in this uproarious show, which features original music played live by Manny Fox.
