Artist Loi Che Chan created a spectacular, 2 000-metre long ribbon of Chinese calligraphy, "Endless Rythm", at the NDSM-shipyard in Amsterdam as part of the "Art Hong Kong-Amsterdam" art exchange. Written in "wild cursive" style, partly to the meditative rhythm of Dutch minimalist music, the calligraphy is a collection of 54 Chinese classical poems which Loi Che Chan learned by heart as a schoolgirl in Hong Kong.
