"Hong Kong 2014" goes on sale (with photo)

     The Government's latest Yearbook, "Hong Kong 2014", went on sale today (June 29).

     The book provides an in-depth account of government policy and activities and an overview of Hong Kong life and developments in 2014.

     Containing a wealth of facts and figures about Hong Kong, including over 40 tables of statistics and an endpaper map showing Hong Kong's geology, the Yearbook offers an invaluable source of information on Hong Kong.

     The Yearbook's 21 chapters cover subjects ranging from Hong Kong's constitution and legal system, through the economy, commerce and industry, employment, education, health and social welfare, to the environment, recreation, sport, culture and the arts.

     The front cover shows the Hong Kong Pulse 3D Light Show on the façade of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and the Clock Tower in Tsim Sha Tsui.

     "Hong Kong 2014" features more than 115 photographs in 13 photo sections on events, people and places in Hong Kong.

     English and Chinese editions of "Hong Kong 2014" and other government publications can be bought at the Information Services Department's Publications Sales Unit, Room 626, 6th floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point.

     The price for the Yearbook is $282 but it will be offered at the 25 per cent discounted price of $211.5 to people purchasing the book at the Hong Kong Book Fair from July 15 to 21.
