Police will implement the following special traffic arrangements on Sunday (June 28) to facilitate two public events held on Hong Kong Island.
North Point
------------
The following roads will be intermittently closed from 9am until the crowd is dispersed:
- Marble Road;
- Kam Hong Street;
- King¡¦s Road;
- North View Street;
- Fort Street;
- Cheung Hong Street;
- Shell Street;
- Merlin Street;
- Electric Road; and
- Java Road.
Central and Western District
----------------------------
Queen's Road Central and Queen's Road West will be intermittently closed from 4pm until the crowd is dispersed.
During the road closure periods, vehicles may not be permitted to leave car parks on the closed roads.
Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the areas. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
