Appointments to Advisory Committee on Post-service Employment of Civil Servants

     The Government announced today (June 26) that the Chief Executive has appointed Professor Chan Yuk-shee as Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Post-service Employment of Civil Servants (ACPE) for a term of two years from July 14, 2015 to July 13, 2017. Professor Chan has been a serving member of the ACPE since July 14, 2013.

     The Chief Executive also appointed Mr Herbert Tsoi Hak-kong as a Member of the ACPE for a term of two years from July 14, 2015 to July 13, 2017.

     The Chief Executive also re-appointed Mr Francis Mok Gar-lon and Miss Melissa Wu as Members of the ACPE for a term of two years from July 14, 2015 to July 13, 2017; and Mr Vincent Cheng Hoi-chuen, Professor Paul Lam Kwan-sing, Mr Lee Ming-kwai and Mr Vincent Lo Wing-sang as Members of the ACPE for a term of two years from September 1, 2015 to August 31, 2017.
     
     The Government expressed its sincere appreciation to the retiring Chairman of the ACPE, Dr Moses Cheng Mo-chi, for his invaluable contributions to the work of the Committee.

     The ACPE advises the Government on matters relating to the post-service employment of civil servants. The other serving member of the ACPE is Mrs Jean Au Yeung Lui Miu-kwan. Its secretariat support is provided by the Joint Secretariat for the Advisory Bodies on Civil Service and Judicial Salaries and Conditions of Service.
