Storytellers boost young minds

Hong Kong's public libraries hold Storytelling for Children activities in Cantonese and English each week, which are aimed at developing children's interest in reading through storytelling, interactive games and prose recital.
News.gov.hk spoke with a storytelling tutor Ms Kennies Cheung at Ping Shan Tin Shui Wai Public Library who revealed the secrets of great storytelling, the benefits of reading to youngsters, and how to capture the imagination of children as a young as 4.
