The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will hold the community thematic carnival "Cantopop Mania II" at Maple Street Playground Football Pitch in Sham Shui Po this Sunday (June 7) from 4.30pm to 7pm. The carnival will feature all-time favourite Cantopop songs, bringing back memories of sweet voices and fantastic music.
The carnival line-up includes local up-and-coming singers James Ng, Kayee Tam and Sharon Lee; folk singer John Lee; and pop groups Soler, Another Kitchen and Blaster. The programme will feature popular Cantopop songs by superstars Sam Hui, Alan Tam, Leslie Cheung, Anita Mui, Danny Chan, Beyond and more.
The carnival will also feature demonstrations of letterpress printing and rubber stamp carving art. Members of the public are welcome to make their own postcards with letterpress printing or rubber stamp imprints of Cantopop stars.
