The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Gregory So, continued to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Ministers Responsible for Trade (MRT) Meeting in Boracay, the Philippines today (May 24).
During the meeting, trade ministers from APEC member economies discussed how to foster small and medium enterprises' (SMEs) participation in the regional and global markets. They also exchanged views with CEOs on global value chains?and their benefits to SMEs, e-commerce and innovation.
On the margins, Mr So met with the Minister of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia, Dato' Sri Mustapa Mohamed, to exchange views on issues of mutual concern.
Mr So will return to Hong Kong tonight.
