Police will implement special traffic arrangements tomorrow (May 23) and on Sunday (May 24) to facilitate the holding of two events in Tuen Mun.
(A) Tuen Mun Beach Festival 2015
Golden Beach Path will be intermittently closed from 2.30pm to 9pm tomorrow and on Sunday. During the period, all vehicles along northbound Golden Beach Path cannot turn right to eastbound Castle Peak Road – Castle Peak Bay.
(B) Triathlon
The following road sections will be closed from midnight to noon on Sunday:
- Westbound Lung Mun Road between Lung Fat Street and Lung Yiu Street;
- Lung Yiu Street; and
- Lung Hong Street.
During the road closure period, eastbound Lung Mun Road between Lung Yiu Street and Lung Fat Street will implement one-lane-two-way traffic.
Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the area. Motorists are advised to pay attention to special traffic signs and take heed of instructions of Police at scene.
