Special traffic arrangements for bicycle procession

     Police will implement special traffic arrangements tomorrow (May 20) to facilitate a bicycle procession to be held in Kowloon.
 
     The procession will depart Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower at 8pm via eastbound Salisbury Road, northbound Nathan Road, westbound Lai Chi Kok Road, eastbound Wong Chuk Street, westbound Yu Chau Street, westbound Yen Chow Street, eastbound Lai Chi Kok Road, southbound Nathan Road and westbound Salisbury Road.
 
     Traffic lanes along the above procession route will be closed by phases during the procession. The following traffic diversions may be implemented depending on the traffic condition (except for franchised buses and green minibuses):
 
- Traffic from Salisbury Road cannot turn to Nathan Road;
- Traffic from Jordan Road, Haiphong Road and Mong Kok Road cannot turn left to Nathan Road; and
- Traffic from Granville Road and Gascoigne Road cannot turn right to Nathan Road.
 
     Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the area. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of Police at scene.
