Police today (May 16) appealed to members of the public to provide information on a homicide case in Yuen Long, in which a 44-year-old woman died.
A 19-year-old woman made a report to the Police yesterday (May 15) that she had lost contact with her 44-year-old mother. Police went to a unit on Yuen Long On Lok Road for investigations and found the 44-year-old woman lying on the ground with a string tied around her neck. The woman was certified dead at scene.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.
Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Yuen Long District are underway.
