The Commissioner of Police, Mr Lo Wai-chung, will depart Hong Kong tomorrow (May 17) to pay a courtesy visit to Beijing since he assumed his post this month.
During his visit, he will call on the Ministry of Public Security and the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council. He will take this opportunity to meet with his counterparts in Beijing as well as to exchange views with them on areas of cross-boundary crimes, technology crime, counter-terrorism and police cooperation.
Accompanying Mr Lo on the visit will be the Deputy Commissioner (Management), Mr Chau Kwok-leung, the Director of Personnel and Training, Mr Au Chi-kwong and Police Liaison Bureau officers. The group will return to Hong Kong on Wednesday (May 20).
