Tenders invited for fee-paying public car park licence and government properties tenancy

     The Government Property Agency is inviting tenders for a licence for the car park on the ground floor and the first, second and third basement levels of Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices, 303 Cheung Sha Wan Road, and a tenancy for the government properties at the China Ferry Terminal, Tsim Sha Tsui and the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal, Sheung Wan.

     The property in Cheung Sha Wan should be used for the purpose of a fee-paying public car park for the parking of private cars and motor cycles only, while the properties in Tsim Sha Tsui and Sheung Wan should be used for general retail purposes only (including storage, sale and display of duty-free liquor, cigarettes, cigars and other tobacco products but excluding any goods or commodities that are prohibited under the Import and Export Ordinance (Cap. 60), any regulations made thereunder and any amending legislations).

     The tender notices were gazetted today (May 15). Tender documents are available for collection at the Government Property Agency, 31/F, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, during office hours (8.30am to 5.45pm from Mondays to Fridays). The documents can also be downloaded from the Agency's website: www.gpa.gov.hk .
 
     Interested tenderers who wish to inspect the sites should make prior appointment with the Government Property Agency by calling 2594 7654 on or before June 4 this year for the property in Cheung Sha Wan, and by calling 2594 7697 on or before June 1 this year for the properties in Tsim Sha Tsui and Sheung Wan.

     Tenderers must submit their tenders by placing them in the Government Logistics Department Tender Box at G/F, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong, before noon on June 12 this year. Late tenders will not be accepted.
