Police are anxious to locate the next-of-kin of a child who was found abandoned on Shanghai Street in Mong Kok.
About 5am today (May 11), Police received a report that a girl aged about three to four was found wandering on 518 Shanghai Street in Mong Kok.
The girl is about 90 centimeters tall and has straight black shoulder hair. She was wearing a grey T-shirt, pants and black sports shoes when being found. No identity document was found in her possession.
The girl has no apparent injuries and was sent to Kwong Wah Hospital for examinations.
Investigations by the District Investigation Team of Mong Kok are underway.
Police urged her relatives or anyone who has information to offer, to contact any Police stations or the officers of the District Investigation Team of Mong Kok District on 2398 6243 or 2398 6329.
