CE meets President of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (with photo)

The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, met the visiting President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), Mr Wang Weiguang, at Government House this afternoon (May 7) to exchange views on issues of mutual concern.
Mr Leung said that the CASS has, over the years, maintained close exchanges with Hong Kong's academia on social sciences and cultural studies. He said he hoped that the CASS and Hong Kong could strengthen co-operation to contribute to enhancing our country's development and research in social sciences.
