Australian event organiser Business Executive Education Ltd (BEE) announced today (May 6) that it will hold the World Business Forum (WBF) in Hong Kong in June 2015.

BEE recently set up an office in Hong Kong to manage the first WBF in Asia. BEE Chief Executive Officer Mr Alberto Saiz said, "The WBF has been held for over a decade in Europe and the Americas. Hong Kong has seen its role as a rapidly increasing international business hub in Asia. The city has one of the greatest concentrations of corporate headquarters and is seen by many multinationals as the gateway to not only Mainland China but also neighbouring countries in Asia."

"In hosting the WBF in Hong Kong, we can expect a quality audience who will understand the messages from the top-notch speakers at our forum. Hong Kong also offers an ideal platform from which BEE can extend its conferencing business throughout Asia." Apart from the WBF in Hong Kong, the BEE office in the city will also look to stage other international forums.

The WBF will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on June 2-3. Speakers at the forum will include the former chairman of the US Federal Reserve Board, Dr Ben Bernanke; management author Tom Peters; co-founder of Apple, Steve Wozniak; filmmaker and director Oliver Stone; Professor at the IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland, Professor George Kohlrieser; Professor of Technology and the Director of the Centre for Research in Technology and Innovation at Kellogg School of Management Mohanbir Sawhney; founding partner of Peppers & Rogers Group, Don Peppers; and writer Sarah Lewis. They will speak on a range of global economic, technology, leadership and innovation and creativity issues.

Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion, Mr Jimmy Chiang, said he was delighted with BEE setting up in Hong Kong and the upcoming WBF. He said, "I am very happy to see that Hong Kong is hosting the forum. Our city has world-class conferencing facilities and experienced personnel, which offer added appeal for global event organisers like BEE to hold their activities here."
