The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced today (May 4) that the following leisure and sports facilities will be temporarily closed:
(a) The leisure pool and toddlers' pool of Island East Swimming Pool will be closed from May 6 (starting from 10am) to 21 for repair work to safety padding. During the closure period, the public may use similar facilities at the nearby Chai Wan Swimming Pool.
(b) Some facilities of Osman Ramju Sadick Memorial Sports Centre in Kwai Tsing District will be temporarily closed for improvement works:

During the closure period, the public may use similar facilities at the nearby Tai Wo Hau Sports Centre and North Kwai Chung Tang Shiu Kin Sports Centre.
(c) The natural turf pitch of Tsuen Wan Riviera Park in Tsuen Wan District will be temporarily closed from May 16 to June 26 for turf maintenance works. During the closure period, the public may use the grass pitch of the nearby Shing Mun Valley Sports Ground.
(d) The grass pitch of Tsing Yi Sports Ground in Kwai Tsing District will be temporarily closed from May 20 to July 14 for turf maintenance works, while the running track will remain open. During the closure period, the public may use the turf pitch of Kwai Chung Sports Ground and Wo Yi Hop Road Sports Ground in the same district.
(e) The turf pitch and golf driving range of Wo Yi Hop Road Sports Ground in Kwai Tsing District will be temporarily closed from June 1 to July 12 for turf maintenance works, while the running track will remain open. During the closure period, the public may use the turf pitch of Kwai Chung Sports Ground and Tsing Yi Sports Ground in the same district.
