Police will implement special traffic arrangements on Sunday (May 3) to facilitate the holding of two events in Tai Po.
Triathlon
---------
The following road sections will be closed from 6am to 9.30am (except for authorised vehicles):
- Ting Kok Road between Tai Mei Tuk Road and Bride¡¦s Pool Road;
- Bride¡¦s Pool Road between Ting Kok Road and Wu Kau Tang Road; and
- Tai Mei Tuk Road from a point about 100 metres south of its junction with the entrance of Tai Mei Tuk Bus Terminus to Tai Mei Tuk Water Sports Centre.

The following roads will be closed from 1.30pm to 4.30pm:
- Southbound Ting Kok Road between Ting Tai Road and Tai Po Tai Wo Road;
- Eastbound Tai Po Tai Wo Road between Ting Kok Road and On Cheung Road;
- Northbound Po Heung Street between Plover Cove Road and Tai Po Tai Wo Road;
- Westbound Plover Cove Road between Po Heung Street and Tung Mau Square;
- Po Heung Street between Plover Cove Road and Nam Shing Street;
- Kwong Fuk Road between On Fu Road and Wan Tau Street; and
- Wai Yan Street between On Fu Road and Po Heung Street.
All metered parking spaces at Po Heung Square and the two metered parking spaces outside No.19 Po Yick Street will be suspended from 8pm on May 2 to 4.30pm the following day.
Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the area. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
