| A press conference on the Chinese Opera Festival 2015 was held today (April 16) at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. At the press conference, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department's Chief Manager (Cultural Presentations), Ms Queenie Wong (first left) introduced the festival's programmes and activities. In addition, guests representing various Chinese opera genres and talking about their upcoming performances included renowned Peking opera artists Shang Changrong (fifth right) and Chen Shaoyun (third right); Cantonese opera artists Law Kar-ying (fourth right), Wan Fai-yin (fourth left) and Yuen Siu-fai (second left) and veteran Cantonese opera co-ordinator Danny Li (fifth left); and Peking opera and Kunqu opera artists Tang Yuen-ha (second right) and Geng Tianyuan (first right). The Festival will be held from June 19 to August 2. |
