The Government today (April 16) announced the appointment of the two non-official members to the Advisory Committee on Admission of Quality Migrants and Professionals, effective from April 16, 2015 to June 30, 2016.
The Committee advises the Director of Immigration on applications received under the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme and the Admission Scheme for Mainland Talents and Professionals.
The two non-official members appointed are (in alphabetical order):
Mr Chong Man-keung
Dr Hung Keung
"The Government is committed to upholding an open and facilitative immigration regime amid the global competition for talent. We look forward to valuable advice from the new members," a government spokesman said.
