Police are investigating a homicide case in Tin Sum last night (April 13) in which a 73-year-old man died.
About 7.46pm, Police received a report that two men had a dispute at a basketball court in Mei Lam Estate. One of them collapsed after he was suspectedly attacked by the other man. The assailant then fled away.
Police officers sped to the scene and located the 73-year-old man lying unconsciously on the ground. He was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital and was certified dead at 8.46pm.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death.
Investigations by the District Crime Squad of Shatin District are underway.
