The Legislative Council (LegCo) Panel on Economic Development conducted a visit to the peak tramway today (April 9) to better understand its operation.
Members visited the Lower Terminus in Central to learn more about the peak tramway service and related facilities. They also received a briefing on the Peak Tram Improvement Plan which included the introduction of new tramcars, enhancement works and renovation of the Termini.
Members who participated in the visit included Chairman of the Panel, Mr Jeffrey Lam; Mr Paul Tse, Mr Charles Mok and Mr Sin Chung-kai who are Panel members; as well as Mr Wong Kwok-hing and Mr Kwok Wai-keung who are non-Panel members.
