Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tin Shui Wai today (April 1) in which a 66-year-old man died.
At about 12.55pm, a light goods vehicle (LGV) driven by the man was traveling along Tin Ha Road towards Ping Ha Road. After passing Ha Tsuen Road, it reportedly rammed into the guardrails. After the LGV stopped, the driver was found collapsed inside the compartment.
The driver was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital and was certified dead at 2.30pm.
The case will be handed over to the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North for investigations.
