Police today (March 27) appealed to the public for information on a dead body found in Aberdeen on March 9.
About 9am on that day, Police received a report that a male body was found floating in the sea off Luk Chau.
The deceased was believed to be a Chinese male aged between 40 and 50. He was about 1.7 metres tall and of medium build. He had a beard and short grey hair. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and black hiking shoes when he was found. No identity document was found on the body.
Initial investigations revealed no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
Police urged anyone who knows the deceased or has any information to offer to contact officers of the Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-unit of Aberdeen Division on 2870 7270.
