Special traffic arrangements for public events on Sunday

     Police will implement special traffic arrangements on March 29 (Sunday) in Ap Lei Chau and Tai Po to facilitate the holding of Hung Shing Festival Parade 2015 and a cycling race respectively.
 
Ap Lei Chau
-----------
 
     The following traffic arrangements will be implemented between 1pm and 5pm:
 
A. Road closure
 
- Ap Lei Chau Main Street between Lee Chi Road and Shan Ming Street; and
- Lee Chi Road leading from Ap Lei Chau Wind Tower Park to Yuet Hoi Street and Yuet Hoi Street will be intermittently closed.
 
B. Traffic diversion
 
- Yuet Hoi Street will be converted to two-lane two-way; and
- Vehicles along Lee Chi Road cannot enter the vicinity of Hung Shing Street, Wai Fung Street, Ping Lan Street and Shan Ming Street.
 
     All vehicles parked on Ping Lan Street, San Shi Street, Hung Shing Street and along the closed roads may not be allowed to leave until the road closure is lifted.
 
Tai Po
------
 
     The following roads will be closed between 5am and 9.30am:
 
- Ting Kok Road between Tai Mei Tuk Road and Mei Wu Road; and
- Bride¡¦s Pool Road between Mei Wu Road and Luk Keng Road.
 
     Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the area. Members of the public are urged to take heed of instructions of police at scene.
